Drew Blythe Barrymore (born February 22 1975) is an American actor. She has been awarded numerous prizes including a Screen Actors Guild Award Award as well as an Golden Globe. There have also been five Emmy Award nominations as well as the BAFTA nomination as well as five Emmy Award nominations. She is a part of the Barrymore family of actors as well as the granddaughter of John Barrymore. Barrymore became a well-known child actress through her role in E.T. The Extra-Terrestrial. After a very publicized childhood characterized by drug and alcohol abuse, she published an autobiography Little Girl Lost. In the 90s she appeared in numerous films, such as PoisonIvy Boys on the Side and Mad Love. Barrymore played alongside Adam Sandler on a few films including The Wedding Singer, 50 First Dates and Blended. Barrymore was a cult child actress when she starred in E.T. the Extra-Terrestrial.
